CONGRATS TO THE WINNERS | June 2025 Issue

This year's BFGoodrich Tires 57th SCORE Baja 500 race was a spectacular show of consistency and determination. What was most amazing to see was that many of the winners in various classes had won at the SCORE San Felipe 250, making this their second win in a row this season. 2025 SCORE BAJA | June 2025 Issue

This second race of the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship Season was not an easy one for the 208 teams who registered and began pre-running weeks before the start. The days leading up to the BFGoodrich Tires 57th SCORE Baja 500 came with rain, and made the course wet and muddy. THE COURSE - Mountains, Good Twisties And Beach | June 2025 Issue

The BFGoodrich Tires 57th SCORE Baja 500 race course extended 461.03-miles across the Baja Peninsula for all Pro Classes including Moto and Quads. The Sportsman classes had a 416.43-mile course. Nevertheless, the course meandered along the Eastern mountain ranges and up the Western coast, crossing Federal Highways and with several speed zones. Read More

He is remembered by the Off-Road community as someone who made a tremendous contribution to the development of the sport and as a cherished member of the SCORE International family.

The official voice of SCORE International from 2013 to 2015, as well as the host of the internet show Dirt Live, has passed away at the age of 76. He touched the hearts of thousands of people at off-road races held in both Mexico and the United States

ENSENADA, Baja California, Mexico— George Antill, 76, became a legend in the Off-Road world and sadly departed on his journey toward the celestial deserts. He is remembered by the Off-Road community as someone who made a tremendous contribution to the development of the sport and as a cherished member of the SCORE International family.

Antill served as the official voice of SCORE International from 2013 to 2015, conducting thousands of interviews with racers during various SCORE races in the United States and Mexico at both the start and finish ramps. His roots in Off-Road go back to the late 1960s, when he participated in several events in California riding his motorcycle.

Starting in January 2013, George Antill hosted the internet show Dirt Live and served as its executive producer. The show featured interviews with various Off-Road stars and included Miss Supercross Dianna Dahlgren. Together, they helped bring the name of SCORE International to more corners of the world, powered by George’s creativity, distinctive voice, and deep passion for the sport.

Antill’s legacy in Off-Road is vast. He was a key figure in the new era of SCORE International after the organization—founded by the late Mickey Thompson—was sold by Sal Fish to Roger Norman in 2012. Norman gave George the opportunity to become the official voice of SCORE, and in doing so, he won the hearts of hundreds across the deserts of Baja California and California.

“All of us in the SCORE family are deeply saddened by the loss of George (Antill), and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this time. Rest in peace, my friend,” said SCORE President and Race Director, Jose A. Grijalva.

Está SCORE de luto tras partida de George Antill

La voz oficial de SCORE International de 2013 a 2015, así como conductor del programa de internet Dirt Live, falleció a los 76 años, quien tocó el corazón de miles de personas en las carreras fuera de camino realizadas en México y Estados Unidos

Ensenada, Baja California, México – George Antill, de 76 años, se convirtió en una leyenda del Off-Road, quien lamentablemente se adelantó en su viaje hacia los desiertos celestiales, siendo recordado por la comunidad del Off-Road como una persona que contribuyó de una enorme manera al desarrollo de este deporte, y formando parte de la familia de SCORE International.

Antill fue la voz oficial de SCORE International de 2013 a 2015, al realizar miles de entrevistas con corredores durante las diferentes carreras de SCORE en los Estados Unidos y México en las rampas de salida y meta, quien tuvo su origen en el Off-Road en el lejano 1960, tras participar en varios eventos en California a bordo de su motocicleta.

A partir de enero de 2013, George Antill condujo el programa de internet Dirt Live y fue el productor ejecutivo del show, mismo que contaba con entrevistas con diferentes figuras del Off-Road y en el que compartía micrófono con la celebridad del Supercross, Dianna Dahlgren, para llevar el nombre de SCORE International a más rincones del mundo, de la mano de su gran ingenio, voz y pasión por el deporte.

El legado de Antill en el Off-Road es uno muy amplio, al ser pieza importante de la nueva era de SCORE International, tras la venta de la organización fundada por el fallecido Mickey Thompson por parte de Sal Fish a Roger Norman, quien le dio la oportunidad a George de ser la voz oficial de SCORE, ganándose el corazón de cientos de personas en los desiertos de la península de Baja California y California.

"Toda nuestra familia SCORE está profundamente entristecida por la pérdida de George (Antill) y extendemos nuestras sinceras condolencias a su familia y amigos en estos momentos, descanse en paz mi amigo", comentó el Presidente y Director de Carreras de SCORE, José Abelardo Grijalva.
