    ENSENADA, Baja California, Mexico— Kaden Wells reclaimed the overall SCORE International UTV Championship, a feat not achieved since 2021, thanks to four podium finishes in the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship, amassing a total of 530 points as the champion of the Pro UTV FI class.

     "Celebrating 52 years of SCORE desert racing," 27-year-old Wells, from Hurricane, Utah, driving his Can-Am Maverick R No. 2935, claimed second place in the 38th edition of the King Shocks SCORE San Felipe 250 in April, won the 57th edition of the BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500 in June and the 6th edition of the SCORE Baja 400 in September, and finished second in the 58th edition of the BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 in November. All races were held for the tenth consecutive year across the vibrant and magical peninsula of Baja California.

       Wells will receive his championship trophies at the 2025 SCORE Awards Gala, alongside his Baja 1000 second driver, Nathan Ellis, 53, Barstow, Calif., as well as his navigator, Emma Cornwell, 29, San Diego, Calif. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the historic San Diego Air & Space Museum, located in the iconic Balboa Park.

     The colorful event will be honoring not only the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship but also the first 52 years of the World’s Foremost Desert Racing Organization.

      The 2025 season opener was the King Shocks 38th SCORE San Felipe 250, on April 2-6 in San Felipe, Baja California, Round 2 was the BFGoodrich Tires 57th SCORE Baja 500, on June 4-8 in Ensenada, Baja California, Round 3 Sept. 10-14 in Ensenada was the 6th SCORE Baja 400, and Round 4 was Nov. 10-16 in Ensenada, was the BFGoodrich Tires 58th SCORE Baja 1000.

      As a notable fact, four of the top five drivers in the SCORE Overall Championship competed in a UTV, including Kaden Wells, who in 2024 won the overall UTV championship in the Pro UTV Stock class. In 2025, he claimed his first overall SCORE title alongside his team on Mexican soil.

BELTRAN, THE GREAT CHAMPION OF BAJA SUR
        Francisco Beltran, 54, La Paz, Mexico, is the new monarch of the Pro UTV Stock class, scoring 511 points and finishing second overall in the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship behind the wheel of his No. 3921 Can-Am Maverick R Beltran Racing, making him the highest-ranked Mexican in the SCORE Overall Car/Truck/UTV Point Leaders.

       Beltran won three of the four SCORE races in 2025—the SCORE San Felipe 250, the SCORE Baja 400, and the SCORE Baja 1000—and also claimed a second-place finish at the SCORE Baja 500. He is only the third Mexican driver to win the Pro UTV Stock title, following the late Anibal Lopez, Mexicali, Mexico (2022) and Jorge Cano, Culiacan, Mexico (2023).

HEGER, THE THREE-TIME POLARIS CHAMPION
        Brock Heger, 25, El Centro, Calif., captured his third SCORE championship in the Pro UTV Open class as part of the official Polaris RZR team, winning three of the four races in the year aboard the No. 1896 Polaris RZR Pro R Factory, finishing the season with 506 points.

         Heger triumphed in the SCORE San Felipe 250, the SCORE Baja 500, and the SCORE Baja 400, and placed fifth in the SCORE Baja 1000. He is currently preparing to compete in the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia this coming January.

         Polaris is the official UTV of SCORE International, fielding four UTVs with a strong roster of drivers. In addition to Heger, Cayden MacCachren, 23, Las Vegas, Max Eddy Jr., 42, Barstow, Calif., and Justin Morgan, 35, El Cajon, Calif., participated in all rounds of the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship.

THE CHAMPIONSHIP DREAM REALIZED BY DAVIS
         The wait is over for Justin Davis, 32, Chino Hills, Calif., the new SCORE Trophy Truck Spec champion. He scored 502 points, outperforming 44 competitors throughout the season, and achieved three podium finishes aboard his No. 285 TSCO-Chevy Green Army Motorsports.

         Davis, who has previously claimed titles in the SCORE Lites and Class 1 divisions, kicked off the season with a second-place finish at the SCORE San Felipe 250 in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico.  He then won the SCORE Baja 500 in Ensenada, Baja California, was second at the SCORE Baja 400, also held in “The Cinderella of the Pacific,” and closed the season with an 11th-place finish at the iconic SCORE Baja 1000, known as “The Off-Road Capital of the World.”

SPEC CLASS DOMINANCE
         In the Top 22 of the SCORE Overall Championship, the class with the most drivers was Trophy Truck Spec with six, followed by the Pro UTV FI class with four. In third place were the SCORE Trophy Truck with three drivers, while the Pro UTV Stock and Pro UTV Open classes tied for fourth with two drivers each.

         Represented by one driver each in the Top 22 SCORE Overall in 2025 were Class 5, Class 7, Pro UTV NA, SCORE Trophy Truck 2WD, and SCORE Trophy Truck Legend.

AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL LEADS THE WAY
        Among the Top 22 overall in the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship, twelve drivers from the United States highlight the country at the top of this statistic, followed by nine athletes from Mexico, and one from Australia, within the world’s premier off-road racing organization.

Wells, el gran rey absoluto del Campeonato Mundial del Desierto 2025 de SCORE International

Kaden Wells es el monarca de la clase Pro UTV FI, quien recibirá sus trofeos en la Gala de Premios SCORE 2025 el Sábado 17 de Enero de 2026 en el histórico Museo del Aire y el Espacio de San Diego, California, ubicado en el popular Parque Balboa

     Ensenada, Baja California, México– Kaden Wells recobró el campeonato overall de SCORE International para los UTV´s, algo que no sucedía desde 2021, de la mano de 4 podios en el Campeonato Mundial del Desierto 2025 de SCORE International, sumando un total de 530 puntos como rey de la clase Pro UTV FI.

         “Celebrando 52 años de carreras SCORE en el desierto”, Wells, de 27 años, y quien vive en Hurricane, Utah, a bordo de su Can-Am Maverick R Número 2935 se quedó con el segundo lugar en la edición 38 de la King Shocks SCORE San Felipe 250 en Abril, ganó la edición 57 de la BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500 en Junio y la edición 6 de la SCORE Baja 400 en Septiembre, y finalizó segundo en la edición 58 de la BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 en Noviembre, todas las carreras se realizaron por décimo año en fila dentro de la península mágica y llena de color de Baja California.

        Wells recibirá sus trofeos de campeón en la Gala de Premios SCORE 2025 junto a su segundo piloto en la SCORE Baja 1000, Nathan Ellis, de 53 años y con residencia en Barstow, California, así como de su prometida y navegadora Emma Cornwell, de 29 años, y de San Diego, California, que se llevará a cabo el Sábado 17 de Enero de 2026 en el histórico Museo del Aire y el Espacio de San Diego, California, ubicado en el popular Parque Balboa.

        Este evento de gala rendirá homenaje no solo al Campeonato Mundial del Desierto 2025 de SCORE International, sino también a los primeros 52 años de la organización de carreras fuera de camino más importante del mundo.

        La temporada 2025 comenzó con la edición 38 de la King Shocks SCORE San Felipe 250, realizada del 2 al 6 de Abril en San Felipe, Baja California, México. La Ronda 2 fue edición 57 de la la BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500, del 4 al 8 de Junio en Ensenada, Baja California, México. La Ronda 3 se llevó a cabo del 10 al 14 de Septiembre en Ensenada, Baja California, México, con la edición 6 de la SCORE Baja 400. Y la Ronda 4, realizada del 10 al 16 de Noviembre en “La Cenicienta del Pacífico”, fue la edición 58 de la BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000. 

        Como dato importante, en el top 5 del Campeonato Overall de Score International, 4 corredores manejaron un UTV, entre ellos Kaden Wells, quien en 2024 fue campeón overall de los UTV´s, pero como parte de la categoría Pro UTV Stock, y en este 2025 alcanzó su primer título overall de SCORE de la mano de su equipo en territorio mexicano.

BELTRÁN, EL GRAN CAMPEÓN DE BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR

         Francisco Beltrán, de 54 años, y de La Paz, Baja California Sur, México, es el nuevo monarca de la clase Pro UTV Stock, al sumar 511 puntos y ser segundo lugar en forma overall dentro del Campeonato Mundial del Desierto 2025 de SCORE International al volante de su Can-Am Maverick R Número 3921 del equipo Beltrán Racing, siendo el mejor mexicano ubicado en este departamento de SCORE.

          Beltrán ganó 3 de 4 carreras de SCORE en este 2025, como lo fueron la SCORE San Felipe 250, la SCORE Baja 400 y la SCORE Baja 1000, además de un segundo sitio obtenido en la SCORE Baja 500, con lo que es apenas el tercer corredor mexicano en alcanzar el título en la clase Pro UTV Stock, al lado del fallecido Aníbal López, de Mexicali, Baja California, México en 2022 y Jorge Cano, de Culiacán, Sinaloa, México en 2023.

HEGER, EL TRICAMPEÓN DE POLARIS

            Brock Heger, de 25 años, y de El Centro, California, alcanzó el tricampeonato de SCORE en la clase Pro UTV Open, quien forma parte del equipo oficial Polaris, y ganó 3 de 4 carreras en el año a bordo del Polaris RZR Pro R Factory Número 1896 para cerrar la cuenta en 506 puntos.

            Heger triunfó en la SCORE San Felipe, la SCORE Baja 500 y la SCORE Baja 400, así como un quinto sitio en la SCORE Baja 1000, atleta que en estos momentos se está preparando para participar en el Rally Dakar que se realizará en Arabia Saudita en Enero.

            Polaris es el UTV oficial de SCORE International, quien cuenta con 4 UTV´S y un roster de pilotos muy completo, ya que aparte de Heger, Cayden MacCachren, Max Eddy Junior y Justin Morgan participaron en todas las fechas del Campeonato Mundial del Desierto 2025 de Score International.

EL CAMPEONATO SOÑADO POR DAVIS

         La espera terminó para Justin Davis, de 32 años, y de Chino Hills, California, el nuevo campeón de la clase Trophy Truck Spec en SCORE, con 502 puntos y siendo el mejor de 44 corredores a lo largo de la temporada, quien logró 3 podios a bordo de su TSCO-Chevrolet Número 285 del equipo Green Army Motorsports.

         Davis, quien se ha coronado en la clase SCORE Lites y Clase 1 en SCORE, arrancó la temporada con un segundo sitio en la SCORE San Felipe 250 en San Felipe, Baja California, México, luego ganó la SCORE Baja 500 en Ensenada, Baja California, México, fue segundo en la SCORE Baja 400 también realizada en “La Cenicienta del Pacífico”, y cerró con un lugar 11 en la icónica SCORE Baja 1000 en la también conocida como “La Capital Mundial del Off-Road”.

DOMINIO DE LA SPEC

            En el Top 22 del Campeonato Overall de SCORE, la clase con más pilotos fue la Trophy Truck Spec con 6, seguida por la clase Pro UTV FI con 4, en tercer lugar, aparecen los SCORE Trophy Trucks con 3, mientras que empatadas en el cuarto sitio, están la clase Pro UTV Stock y Pro UTV Open con 2 corredores.

           Con 1 corredor diciendo presente en el top 22 de SCORE en este 2025, aparecen la Clase 5, la Clase 7, la clase Pro UTV NA, los SCORE Trophy Trucks 2WD y los SCORE Trophy Trucks Legend.
