Building on a foundation of consistent podium performances, this Encinitas-based desert racing veteran has established himself as one of SCORE's most reliable competitors through nearly a decade of elite-level competition. His back-to-back second-place class finishes at the legendary SCORE Baja 1000 in both 2021 and 2022 demonstrate the kind of sustained excellence that separates championship-caliber racers from the field, while his 2022 runner-up finish at the historic SCORE Baja 500 further solidified his reputation as a podium threat in the world's most demanding desert races.
At 39, Walsh brings the perfect combination of experience and determination to every race, having competed alongside some of the sport's biggest names including Rob MacCachren, Luke McMillin, and Robby Gordon in the ultra-competitive SCORE Trophy Truck divisions. His consistent ability to navigate the brutal 1,000-mile Baja Peninsula course and cross the finish line in podium position speaks to both his driving skill and his team's preparation and execution.
With multiple podium finishes in SCORE's premier events, Walsh continues to chase that elusive first overall victory while maintaining his position among the sport's most respected competitors in the unforgiving world of Baja desert racing.
