His remarkable 2017 season stands as a testament to his skill and consistency, capturing the SCORE Baja 1000 class championship while conquering the grueling 1,000-mile peninsula marathon. That same year, he dominated the SCORE Baja 500 with another class victory in his home race, showcasing his intimate knowledge of Baja's challenging terrain.

The triple-crown achievement was completed with an overall victory at the 2017 SCORE Tijuana Desert Challenge Final, demonstrating his ability to excel across different race formats and conditions. His sustained excellence continued into 2018, earning a hard-fought second-place class finish at the prestigious Baja 1000, proving his competitiveness against the world's best desert racers.
