Rising from the desert racing hotbed of Mexicali, this 25-year-old Mexican motorcycle standout has established himself as a formidable force in SCORE International competition. His breakthrough came at the 2020 SCORE Baja 1000, where he captured the Pro Moto Limited class championship, conquering the legendary 1,000-mile peninsula challenge that represents the pinnacle of desert racing achievement.
Building on that success, Ramirez delivered another stellar performance at the 2021 SCORE Baja 500, securing a hard-fought second-place class finish in the historic Ensenada-based desert classic. This podium result demonstrated his consistency and ability to perform under pressure in one of off-road racing's most demanding environments.
Representing the new generation of Mexican desert racing talent, Ramirez combines tactical intelligence with aggressive riding skills honed in the challenging terrain surrounding his Baja California home base. His proven ability to navigate the treacherous rocks, silt beds, and high-speed sections that define Baja's unforgiving landscape has earned him recognition among SCORE's elite motorcycle competitors.
With championship credentials already established and podium finishes backing his reputation, Ramirez continues pursuing additional class victories and overall honors in SCORE's premier desert racing series.
In the Pro Moto Limited class, SCORE fans were expecting to see the 2020 Class Champion Fernando Beltran take another win after their first-place performance in the SCORE San Felipe 250. The team, however, had difficulties on the course and was able to finish in fourth place. The 109x team of Christopher Gil, however, had both the luck and skill on their side on race day, finishing first in class. It was the first win of the season for the team, as they finished fourth in San Felipe. The 106x team of Jorge Ramirez also had some good luck finishing second place, with the 101x team of Ulises Fierro finishing in third place. Read More
During the 2020 season, Fernando Beltran managed to take the Pro Moto Limited championship and thus rode the 100x bike in San Felipe. With co-riders Luis Flores, Radolfo Patron, and Michael Valenzuela, the team rode their Honda CRF450X to victory. Flores was the least prepared of the team, as was contacted at the last minute to fill in. “I didn’t get to pre-run and they gave me the most difficult portions of the race,†said Flores. “We went all out. It was fun but dangerous. There were a lot of lines, and you don’t know which ones to take if you didn’t pre-run it.†Read More
