Biography

Building on a legendary career that includes capturing both the SCORE Baja 1000 and SCORE Baja 500 Class 11 championships in 2018, Viry Felix has established herself as one of Mexico's most accomplished desert racers. Operating from the racing hub of Ensenada, she made history as the first woman to win Class 11 at the SCORE Baja 500 in recent memory, crossing the finish line in 21:06:01 with the entire town celebrating her victory.

Felix's success stems from her deep partnership with the renowned Bio racing family, teaming with Cisco, Ramon, and Pancho Bio to dominate the competitive Class 11 division. Her mentorship of younger drivers, including guiding Ramon Bio through his first SCORE race in 2014, demonstrates her commitment to developing the next generation of Baja racers. The tight-knit Class 11 community in Mexico, where local races regularly feature 20-30 participants, has provided the perfect training ground for Felix to hone her skills.

Her dual championship season in 2018 showcased her versatility across both of Baja's most prestigious events, conquering the legendary peninsula course at the Baja 1000 and excelling in the challenging Ensenada desert terrain of the Baja 500.
