A veteran competitor with decades of SCORE desert racing experience, this Utah-based racer has made his mark in the challenging Class 11 division, piloting stock Volkswagen sedans through some of the most demanding terrain in North America. Racing alongside family members including sons Cole and Weston, he represents the multi-generational spirit that defines desert racing culture.

His impressive crew roster for major events demonstrates the collaborative nature of top-level SCORE competition, regularly fielding teams that include Franz Muhr, Patrick Kendall, Patrick Peet, and Jon Baker from Colorado and Utah. This experienced support network has been instrumental in tackling the grueling distances and technical challenges of premier events like the Baja 500.

The 2018 SCORE season saw him campaign car #1115 in the prestigious Baja 500, joining a competitive field of Class 11 competitors. His commitment to the stock VW sedan class showcases dedication to one of SCORE's most traditional and challenging divisions, where mechanical reliability and driver endurance are paramount.

Based in Pleasant Grove, Utah, he continues to represent the strong contingent of American desert racers who make the pilgrimage to Baja California to test themselves against the peninsula's legendary terrain and international competition.
