    ENSENADA, Baja California, Mexico—Culminating the Celebration of 52 Years of SCORE Desert Racing Excellence, online ticket sales are open for the 2025 SCORE Awards Gala to be held in San Diego.

     SCORE International will celebrate on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026 at the popular San Diego Air & Space Museum at the historic Balboa Park as the event will commemorate the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship and the first 52 years of the World’s Foremost Desert Racing Organization.

     At the San Diego Air & Space Museum, nearly 500 SCORE racers, family, friends, crews, sponsors, and media will bask in the sunny Southern California spotlight as the SCORE Awards Gala will honor the history and fame of the name which is the standard for desert racing worldwide while honoring the four-race 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship.

TASTY TICKETS

     Being held in the Pavilion of Flight at the historic museum, tickets priced at $100 per adult, a table for eight at $800, and children under 12 years old at $70, are being sold online at

     Ticket sales will close for the popular evening at 8 p.m. PT on Friday, January 9, 2026. There will be no ticket sales at the door.

     Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. PT for admission into the museum, followed by a pre-awards reception at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. and presentations starting at 7:30 p.m.

     This will be the seventh time and fourth since 2020 that the annual SCORE Awards Gala will be held at the historic San Diego Air & Space Museum and the 15th time the historic evening will be held in Southern California since 2000, when it was held at Joe’s Garage automotive museum in Tustin, Calif. Because of the international health pandemic, the event was pre-recorded in both the 2020 and 2021 seasons from videos submitted by the award winners.

     The event celebrates the World’s Foremost Desert Racing Organization that completed its 52nd season in November at the BFGoodrich Tires 58th SCORE Baja 1000.

EARLY ENTRY

     Guests at the event will be allowed to enter the museum at 5:30 p.m. to view the numerous historical displays at the popular facility prior to the start of the reception at 6 p.m.

AWESOME AWARDS

     In addition to the special SCORE Achievement Awards and the 24 Pro and Sportsman classes that qualified racers for class season championships along with five overall point champions who will be honored. Another highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the eight annual SCORE Off-Roadsman of the Year Awards.

     Most of the awards for the SCORE Awards are being exclusively designed and specially produced for the third time by Lasernut, a premiere custom metal fabrication and laser cutting company based in Norco, Calif.

     Individuals as well as manufacturers and organizations are honored through eight distinct SCORE Off-Roadsman of the Year Awards, whose winners will be decided by several thousand SCORE fans through online voting including the entire SCORE membership of more than 2,500. Among the awards to be presented are SCORE Rookie of the Year, SCORE Contingency Company of the Year, SCORE Pit Support Team of the Year, SCORE Mechanic of the Year and SCORE Team Manager of the Year.

MANUFACTURER POINT CHAMPS

     The 2025 Manufacturer of the Year point champions to be honored as well will be Original Open Wheel Chassis, Engine Builder, Original Truck Chassis, UTV and Motorcycle.

SCORE MILESTONE AWARDS

     Another element of the diverse program for the evening will be the presentation of the 2025 Rod Hall SCORE Milestone Awards.  As it has for 40 years, the coveted SCORE Milestone Awards are presented to those racers who finish every required mile of the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship. A total of 44 racers completed all 1974.25 required miles in the four-race 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship.

SPECIAL SCORE AWARDS

     Also part of the evening will be the presentation of the SCORE Lifetime Achievement Award and the SCORE Person of the Year Award.

     Ensenada, Baja California, México– Finalizando la celebración de los 52 Años de Carreras SCORE en el Desierto, ya se pusieron a la venta los boletos para la premiación 2025 de SCORE International, evento que servirá para reconocer a los reyes de este deporte en una gala que se realizará en San Diego, California.

     La empresa SCORE International estará realizando el evento durante el Sábado 17 de Enero de 2026 en el Museo del Aire y Espacio de San Diego, mismo que se ubica en el histórico Parque Balboa, en una oportunidad muy especial para celebrar a los ganadores del Campeonato Mundial del Desierto 2025 de SCORE International, además de sus primeros 52 años como la mejor organización de carreras fuera de camino a nivel mundial.

     En el Museo del Aire y Espacio, cerca de 500 personas estarán reunidas para observar paisajes de lujo de la bahía californiana, entre corredores de SCORE International, familias de ellos, amigos, integrantes de los equipos de competencia, patrocinadores y medios de comunicación. La premiación de SCORE rendirá un homenaje a la historia y fama de quienes dominaron las 4 fechas del Campeonato Mundial del Desierto 2025 de SCORE International.

VENTA DE BOLETOS

     La premiación se realizará en el Pabellón de Vuelo en el histórico museo, los boletos tendrán un costo de 100 dólares por adulto, una mesa para 8 personas costará 800 dólares, y niños menores de 12 años pagarán 70 dólares, entradas que ya están a la venta en

     La venta de boletos para la gala a lo más selecto del Off-Road finalizará en la página de internet de SCORE International el Viernes 9 de Enero de 2026 a las 8 de la noche, tiempo del Pacífico. No se venderán boletos el día del evento, ni en la entrada del museo.

     Se abrirán las puertas del histórico recinto de aviación a las 5:30 de la tarde, Tiempo del Pacífico, para que los asistentes puedan ingresar y convivir en una recepción de bienvenida a las 6 de la tarde, la cena se servirá a las 7 de la tarde, y la presentación del evento iniciará a las 7:30 de la tarde.

     Esta será la séptima ocasión y la cuarta desde 2020 que la premiación de SCORE se realiza en el histórico Museo del Aire y Espacio de San Diego, California, además de que ya son 15 años que la gala del Off-Road se lleva a cabo en el Sur de California desde el 2000, año en que se efectuó en el museo Garage de Joe en Tustin, California. Por temas de la pandemia mundial del Covid-19, las premiaciones de 2020 y 2021 se realizaron con videos grabados en forma previa por los ganadores de esas temporadas, mismos que fueron transmitidos posteriormente en unos programas especiales.

     La premiación es el “broche de oro” a la temporada 52 de la organización número 1 de Off-Road a nivel mundial, destacando que la última carrera de este año fue la edición 58 de la BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 en Noviembre, con arranque y meta en el puerto de Ensenada, Baja California, México.

LA FIESTA COMENZARÁ TEMPRANO

     Los invitados a la premiación de SCORE podrán ingresar al museo a partir de las 5:30 de la tarde para observar diferentes aviones, mismos que han sido parte importante de la aviación a nivel mundial, previo a la bienvenida que comenzará a las 6 de la tarde.

PREMIOS DE LUJO

     Como extra, aparte de los Premios SCORE de Vida, y los campeones de las 24 categorías profesionales y Sportsmans que serán reconocidos en San Diego, California, así como los 5 monarcas en forma absoluta, se darán a conocer a los vencedores de la octava edición de los galardones de lo mejor del año en SCORE.

     La mayoría de los premios SCORE están siendo diseñados exclusivamente y producidos de manera especial, por tercera ocasión, por Lasernut, una reconocida empresa de fabricación metálica personalizada y corte láser con sede en Norco, California.

     Tanto individuos como fabricantes y organizaciones serán reconocidos a través de los ocho distintos premios SCORE a lo mejor del año, cuyos ganadores serán elegidos por miles de aficionados de SCORE International mediante votación en línea, incluyendo a los miembros de SCORE, que supera las 2 mil 500 personas. Entre los premios que se entregarán están: Novato del Año de SCORE, Empresa de Contingencia del Año de SCORE, Equipo de Asistencia en Pits del Año de SCORE, Mecánico del Año de SCORE y Mánager de Equipo del Año de SCORE.

       Otro aspecto destacado del variado programa de la noche será la presentación de los Premios Rod Hall SCORE 2025.
        Como ha sido durante 40 años, los codiciados galardones SCORE se entregan a los pilotos que completaron todas las millas del Campeonato Mundial del Desierto 2025 de SCORE International.

        Un total de 44 corredores completaron las 1 mil 974.25 millas, a lo largo de las cuatro carreras que organizó SCORE International por décimo año en fila dentro de la península mágica de Baja California.

PREMIOS ESPECIALES DE SCORE

         Otra parte destacada de la noche será la presentación del Premio SCORE a la Trayectoria y de la Persona del Año SCORE, que en años recientes ha sido entregado a personalidades del Off-Road como Sal Fish, Nico Saad, Mark McMillin, Dominic Clark, Frank DeAngelo y Kurt Caselli.
